The Punching Pandas
Like many before them, The Punching Pandas humble origins started in a garage with a few friends and a mutual interest in drinking bourbon and playing music. It didn’t take long for the Des Moines based band to explode onto the scene drawing bigger and rowdier crowds with each and every show. From the very beginning they were different, not only in song choice but in energy, audience involvement, and their unique ability to captivate an audience and make them stay for more!
From blistering hot funk, to the most down home blues, to the classic rock hits you know and love, there isn’t any genre or style off The Punching Pandas playlist. They aren’t just a band, they are a full throttle entertainment machine! Featuring an explosive horn section, an ancient but soulful B3 organ, and a tight and funky rhythm section, this party band brings the heat like no one before them!
