We knew we’d be back to sing songs in other keys, how could we deny you the pleasure of seeing my friends and me! This is a special show for us because Clive has been pretty much the hometown for a number of years, we couldn’t be more excited to be invited to throw down for the hometown heroes. That being said, we are going to hip thrust and and play feral wild funk for a good three hours to get you guys warmed up for the night! We are just the start of the evening so make sure to save some of your body and strength for the headlining act!

Fleetwood makes me feel so good! Our last show there we had the crowd finish an entire bottle of 1800 Tequila over the course of about 3 and a half minutes. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know to want to go to this show then you’re not invited anyways.

July 3rd, Monday night we are summoning our inner patriotic demons to march forth and play music for the glory of the freedomland! Nothing says “Merica” More than fireworks, alcoholic beverages, and dancing in the street to some of the finest and funkiest musicians in town. We know for a stone cold, certified, science-based fact that the town of Waterloo has never had the funky licks played in their streets before and we are excited to be their first! Oh my love grows where your Rosemary goes! Spring is in the air, but also love, and the last thing in the air is music from the sweet, sweet, Panda Boys. That’s right, we are at it again with bringing two beautiful souls together in holy matrimony through the power of music, the call of the dance, and the inebriation of alcohols! Receptions are always the absolute best, and people who hire live music for their reception are 73% more rad than the average person, it’s just science folks. Let’s get rowdy!

It’s that time of year again! As night falls early over the sleepy city of Des Moines we want all you freaks and zombies to crawl forth from your lairs and mausoleums and make your way to The Blank Park Zoo! Zoo Brew of course is a uniquely Iowa activity where you can drink, dance, and catch all the sights and sounds of the zoo after dark! Every dollar spend goes towards conservation, education and animals protection! Very rarely can you have a screamingly good time and support so many wonderful causes simultaneously. Let’s see you creepy crawlies at 6PM for when we take over the stage and submit our funk to the demons of the night!

They have a truly world-class outdoor setup for live entertainment, some of the best damn wine in the Midwest, and the rowdiest band of ne’er-do-wells to ever grace the bi-regional music scene. Summerset is the place to be for Sunday Funday, don’s miss out!

It’s a full night of funk down at Ingersoll Live on the East End Stage! Faculty Lounge is tearing it up at 7PM and we will follow up at 9:30 and close out the night! There is food, drink, activities and some fantastic music all day long! This is the mother of all block parties, so let’s get hog wild and party!

At last, the final Fleetwood show of summer 2022. This is where we throw a New Orleans style wake for the waning days of Summer. We will toast to its warm rays, welcoming vibes, and outdoor dalliances with the pale moonlight. The soft sensation of a stranger’s funky guitar lick wetting your ear, the thick organ sound sliding into your soul, the snare drum pounding to a stimulating and steady beat, it’s the end of another wet hot American summer so let’s see it out in style. Fleetwood, did we save the best for last? Let’s find out!

What else makes a perfect State Fair? MICROBREWS AND LIVE MUSIC, DUH! We are pleased as punch to report that we have secured a show for one night only at the Craft Beer Tent at the Iowa State Fair! Everyone knows that a mildly alcoholic tincture of hops, barley and malt is essential to help settle your stomach after consuming massive amounts of grease and sugar, so grab yourself another chocolate covered deep-fried corndog on a stick and be sure to stop by and visit us on your way back from ogling the Butter Cow for the best in downhome, foot-tapping tunes featuring the Panda’s usual mix of high energy rock, blues, pop, funk and our amusing musical antics!

Ahh, mi amore, love is in the air! Can you smell it? We are always completely honored to bring the wet hot funk to the reception of any couples beautiful perfect day. The slapping heavy bass, the pounding rhythmic drums, the thundering of the brass as it rings out in the night sky, is there anything more sensual and celebratory than The Punching Pandas band? We go together with wedding receptions like peanut butter and chocolate!

We are honored to be a part of Hilltop Festival this year and to be a part of all the goodness they bring into the world! This Festival raises funds for Friendship Haven which gives many people a warm place to live and thrive while also providing medical assistance as well as community programs. This is a direct way to help local friends and family while having a pretty dang good time! I was told upon hiring they want to kick up the event with some wild and rowdy entertainment, so we’re here to do just that! We can’t wait to show our support and we hope you show yours too! Come on out to Hilltop Festival, buy a drink, support the cause, and let’s make the world a little better place!

Fort Dodge, look out! We come to party, drink in excess, and raise money for the Good Samaritan Fund! We were so attracted to this event we couldn’t pass it up once we found out all the proceeds help the local community! Housing and Healthcare are major provisions of the Friendship Haven and the Good Samaritan fund helps all those in need find a place to rest their heads and find the help they need. We can’t think of a better reason to get wild and rowdy than that! August 12th don’t miss this one, we start at 6:30PM and will be letting out all the shenanigans! Tickets at $15 and it includes a catered meal and all the smoking funky horns you can handle!

Move B**** get out the way, The Punching Pandas are here to throw down at the Knoxville Nationals! We love this show, it’s one of our favorite performances all year. The high octane thrill of the track brings out the finality of the human existence which brings us to the crashing realizations that time is a precious commodity that we can never get back. Which of course leads to dancing like no one’s watching, drinking like it’s the last time beer will ever pass between your lips, and giving yourself to the night as if it were a secretive and passionate lover! Come party with us and the Iowa Beer Bus immediately after the races, we are there all night long!

Only the rowdiest and wildest are allowed inside the hallowed halls of Zora! We have played this venue several times this year and we always have an absolute blast. Come check out their totally radical light setup and their brand new stage!

We are headlining Friday night at the Indianola Balloon Fest! Grab a blanket, grab a friend, grab yourself, and come on down to Balloon Fest! Weather permitting the balloons will be launching en masse and filling the sky with their glorious splendor! We will be pulling out all the stops for one of our biggest shows ever and giving the entire event some much needed musical ambience to accompany the flight of the baskets. Show starts at 6PM, this one’s for the whole family!

We are back in Bondurant and we are here for your beer! Reclaimed Rails is a beautiful venue in a kick ass town with some seriously stellar beers! What more could you ask for? Seriously, music, beer, ambience, BBQ, its got it all babbbbbyyyy. Show starts at 7PM! Last time the place was so packed we did an extra hour of music so make sure to come early and get your spot! We are cautiously excited about Aquapalooza. We’ve been promised a lake full of people who on one single day of the year let everything out and party like The Purge only with drinking, eating, and dancing. That single pitch line alone had us hooked. We are now nipple deep in planning the most wet and wild show we can possibly think of for the anarchist parties of Aquapalooza. This will be no normal show! Neigh neigh, this will be one for the record books, let the annual Party Purge commence!

You might think your a rowdy howdy beer drinker. That’s fine. You might even think your the life of the party throwing back your bourbon. Good on you. But everyone knows there isn’t a better buzz than a wine buzz! They have both kinds at Casper Winery, Red AND White so no one is left out of the drinking fun. It’s Wednesday night ya’ll and we love nothing more than to break up the work week by getting down and really shredding it up on Wednesday, having a little too much wine and calling it a five day weekend. No, YOU have a problem Greg! Come hang out with us at Wine Down Wednesdays, we really dig performing at Wineries. The locations are beautiful, the drinks are delicious, and it gives us an excuse to put on our nice pants.

One of the things many people may tout as a premium feature of Iowa living is that we are blessed with the full force of all four seasons. The fine folks in Polk City have seen fit to celebrate this natural change in the weather by celebrating it with food, drink, and finely curated music! Join us as we dance and offer sacrifice to the weather gods so that we may be blessed with a bountiful harvest in fall, a winter to kill off the yucky bugs, a wet spring to moisten our fields for romping and stomping, and a hot summer so we may tan our paled bodies from the many months indoors. 4 Seasons Festival can we get rowdy?

I would love to live in a world where Ankeny transforms from mild mannered budding Iowa suburb to wet and wild party central after dark! With a concert series name like that it must get crazy. Place the children in their holding receptacles and designate Uber as your driver for the eve, for when the sun goes down Ankeny will no longer be a safe place for the uptight work place Joe. No, no! it will metamorphize into a lawless wild west saloon town where the only laws are that of sinful overindulgence and lustful bodily motions to the hypnotic rhythms of The Punching Pandas!

The Punching Pandas are performing at Chill on the Hill, and you have plenty of time to get there! You roll down your windows and let the breeze whip through your hair as you zoom across town. Your heart beat quickens, your bloods pumps a little faster than before, your eyes dilate in excitement. Anything is possible at The Punching Panda shows, and you feel like maybe the rest of your life is beginning right now.

Music in the Junction, let’s get wild! We absolutely love this show, the Valley Junction area, and sweet sweet cold libations! This makes music in the Junction the perfect storm for a rowdy good time on June 2nd. This is a staple concert series in the Des Moines landscape and it supports a very uniquely Iowa part of town.
