We know some of you are still a little hungover from the fourth of July but we have good news, The District has strong cocktails all day long to chase away the pain with a little hair of the dog! Summer is in full swing and we are soaking up every minute of sunshine we can get! (Mostly because it’s February at the time of writing this and seasonal depression is currently in full swing making me dream sweet dreams of a long forgotten time when flowers bloomed, sun shined down, and the air didn’t calcify my skin with pain as I breached the outdoors. The snow doesn’t even look inviting anymore, instead it’s turned hard, as if it knows it too has overstayed it’s welcome. Ice grows longer as days grow colder and the once fond dream of spring has become but a distant flickering light. We fear we might not make it through this long, dark night. Even the grave has a warm appeal in these bleak times.) But I digress, let’s get rowdy on July 11th with music, friends, and cocktails!
